Who We Serve

Scales Fall Ministry offers help for addiction, help for homelessness, and help for domestic violence to anyone ready to commit to real change. We welcome individuals struggling with substance abuse, those experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and men and women seeking safety and support after domestic violence. We also work alongside families searching for a faith based path forward for a loved one in crisis.

This program is not for everyone. It is for people who are ready to surrender to God, do the work, and follow through.

What to Expect

Our programs are built on structure, accountability, and faith. Depending on your situation, this may include:
  • Committing to Bible study and church attendance
  • Working a job and learning to manage your finances
  • Living in community and following house guidelines
  • Separating from old behaviors and relationships that hold you back
  • Reporting regularly to ministry leadership

This is not a quick program, and there is no set length of time. Your path depends on the battles you are facing and your willingness to follow through.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have to stay in the program?
There is no fixed timeline. Everyone comes in facing different struggles, and your time in the program reflects that. What matters most is your willingness to do the work.

Can I talk to family members during the program?
This depends on your situation. In some cases, family contact can interfere with recovery, especially if family members are part of the old patterns you are working to leave behind. We will talk through your specific circumstances with you.

How do I pay my bills while I am here?
Everyone in the program works. We help you take a full accounting of your past and present bills, including any bill collectors, and guide you toward getting your finances under control. We do not charge for housing, and we show you exactly where every dollar goes.
