To address the physical, social, and spiritual needs of the homeless, domestic violence victims, and those suffering from addiction by meeting essential needs while offering dignity and a path forward to self-sufficiency and well-being, all while sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Why We Exist
We believe people are lost, and Jesus Christ is the answer. Everyone carries a burden they cannot fix alone, and everyone needs someone to stand in the gap for them. That is the heart of this ministry: guiding people to the freedom found in Christ. Our focus stays on the gospel first. From there, we meet practical needs too, feeding and housing the homeless, helping people work through financial hardship, and connecting them with jobs and resources.
What We Believe
Scales Fall Ministry is faith-based. We are not funded by the state or by any government program, and that is by design. We exist to preach Jesus and to preach the gospel, without restriction on how we do it. Every part of this ministry, from deliverance to discipleship to daily work, flows from that belief.
Where Our Name Comes From
The name Scales Fall Ministry comes from Acts 9:18, describing Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus: "It is time for your scales to fall."
Just as Saul's physical blindness fell away so he could see clearly and follow Christ, we believe everyone carries something blinding them, whether it is addiction, abuse, homelessness, or simply a life apart from God. Scales Fall Ministry exists to help people reach that same moment: when the scales fall, sight is restored, and a new life in Christ begins.
Our Vision
We want the people who come to Scales Fall Ministry to know they have found the place they need to be delivered. We want them to feel they have found a safe place to worship, free from judgment and full of grace. Our vision is a community where people move from surrender to Christ, to growth in discipleship, to becoming the ones who guide others through the same freedom they found here.
